My kids are so over their High School Musical DVDs.
For two months now, their musical of choice has been Mamma Mia! which stars Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan and the lovely Amanda Seyfried, who plays Sophie. Most of the time, though, they doze off sometime after Super Trouper. It’s little wonder then, that they are partial to songs that are sung by Sophie, who appears early on in the movie. Chelsea likes the opening song, I Have A Dream, while Wade digs Honey Honey. The ABBA songs are so catchy that I’ve been frequently caught humming them of late. As for me, the men’s Our Last Summer never fails to strike a poignant chord.
